The Indian Ocean Newsletter is a specialist publication covering the countries on the east coast of Africa and the Indian Ocean islands. It has been published fortnightly by Paris-based Indigo Publications since 1981.
The Indian Ocean Newsletter provides detailed news and analysis of politics and business across the region. The newsletter's Politics and Power section covers the activities of the region's most powerful players on a national and international level, shedding light on their backgrounds and the circles they move in. Francis Soler, who is also Indigo Publications' Editorial Director, is the Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Ocean Newsletter.
